How Water Finding Paste Works
Water finding paste requires no equipment, no power and no training — just apply, dip and read the result in seconds.
Apply Paste
Scoop a small amount of paste onto your finger or applicator and spread an even coat onto the lower section of the dipstick.
Coat the Rod
Distribute the paste evenly along the dipstick. Coverage matters more than thickness — a thin, consistent layer gives the most accurate reading.
Insert into Tank
Lower the coated dipstick fully to the tank bottom. Hold briefly to ensure contact with any water layer settled beneath the fuel.
Read the Result
Withdraw and inspect. The paste changes colour precisely at the water interface — giving an instant visual confirmation of water presence and depth.
